1. How can I skip the introduction?

You can skip the introductory animation at any time by tapping on the screen.

2. The sound in not working correctly.

To begin, please check to ensure that the lock on the outside of the iPad is turned on. If this is not the problem, the lack of sound may have to do with the settings within the app. You can make sure that the Audio narration is interrupted when the user interacts with another element on the screen. In order to refresh the audio narration at any point, simply tap the white "Refresh" icon below the text.

3. Why is it that the app does not begin at the homepage automatically?

Hero of the Rails was developed to comply with Apple's multitasking feature for iPad iOS 4.0 and above. With this new capability, users can use different applications on the iPad simultaneously, without needing to fully exit any of them. To see a list of applications that are running in the background of your device, you can double tap the home button.

4. The screen is grayed out an the interactions aren't working. What's wrong?

Make sure the horizontal menu bar, at the bottom of the screen, is not open. You cannot interact with this application when this navigational bar is open.

5. Why is the app crashing?

If the app is crashing on your device, please confirm that you have the latest version of Hero of the Rails. You can check this by accessing the “Updates” section (lower-right corner of the App Store) on your device. Another step to try is closing all background apps and restarting your device. To do this, simply hold down the power button until the "slide to power off" option appears.
