1. How do I search for a certain smoothie?

To search for a particular recipe or ingredient, tap the “Menu” tab on the bottom-left corner of the screen, and select “Search.” On the search page, you can swipe to view by “Type” (of smoothie) or “Main Ingredient”; relevant results will appear below. If you know exactly what you’re looking for, you can also select “By Keyword” on the upper-right corner of the screen. Here, you can type in specific search terms.

2. How do I manage my “Favorites” list?

To access your favorites list, tap the “Menu” tab on the bottom-left corner of the screen, and select “Favorites.”

To add a smoothie to your list, go to the recipe page of the smoothie you wish to add, and tap the heart icon just above the ingredients. To remove a recipe, access your favorites through the “Menu” tab and select “Edit” in the upper-right corner. Tap the “x” on the upper-left corner of the smoothie you wish to delete. Alternatively, from the recipe, tap the heart icon next to the word “Remove” above the ingredients.

To rearrange the recipes in your list, tap the “Edit” button inside your list and then drag the gray bars to the right of the recipe name.

3. How do I purchase additional recipe bundles?

To purchase smoothie bundles with recipes that are not already in your library, go to the home screen and tap the “Buy” button affixed to the bundle you want. A pop-up will appear with additional information. To proceed with the purchase, tap the price of the bundle. You may be asked to verify your iTunes login information. Once the purchase is complete, the bundle will download directly into your app, as indicated by the green download progress bar. When download is complete, all recipes from the bundle will automatically appear in your library.

4. How do I access nutritional information?

To view quantitative nutritional information for a smoothie, go to the home screen image of the particular recipe and tap the “Health Stats” tab. When you’re done viewing, simply tap the “x” to return to the recipe. For more general and descriptive information about smoothie ingredients, you can access the Food Glossary by tapping the “Menu” tab on the bottom-left corner of the screen.

5. How do I share smoothie recipes with my friends and family?

While viewing a recipe, select the “Share” tab on the bottom of the screen. Choose either email or Facebook as your share mode. If you choose email, the app will use your default account to automatically set up an email with the recipe text and photo intact. Simply type the recipient’s email address into the appropriate field and tap “Send.” If you choose Facebook, the app will request permission to access your Facebook account. Once you provide login information, you will be able to post smoothie recipes as Facebook status updates.

6. How can I add a personalized note or reminder to a specific recipe?

To supplement a recipe with a customized note or reminder, select the “Add a Note” option below the recipe method. A menu, including a keyboard, will pop up. After writing your note, simply tap the “Done” button and it will save to the recipe automatically. You can also delete this note at any time by deleting the characters of the note.

7. If I’m in a recipe, how do I get back to the runway?

To return to the runway at any point, simply tap the home icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.

8. Are there other Martha Stewart apps available?

Yes. You can access additional Martha content for iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad by selecting the “Menu” tab on the bottom-left corner of the screen, and tapping the “+M” button. Here, you will be able to view other apps produced by Callaway Digital Arts in association with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, including Martha Stewart Cocktails and Martha Stewart Makes Cookies. Simply select an app to be redirected to the app’s homepage in the App Store.
